2. Basics and legal bases

This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. Where we process personal data, we do so on the basis of Art. 6 (1) GDPR — in particular to perform pre-contractual or contractual measures (lit. b), to safeguard legitimate interests (lit. f) or on the basis of your consent (lit. a).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of the host. This may in particular be server log files that your browser transmits automatically.

Hosting provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen

When you access this website, the host automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are usually:

  • anonymised or shortened IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • name and URL of the retrieved file
  • the browser type used and, where applicable, the operating system
  • the previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted

Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation, the security and the stability of this website. The log files are stored for a short period and then deleted, unless they are needed to investigate security incidents. Where required, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, your details will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party services

This website is deliberately built to minimise data. It is delivered statically and uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising networks. No fonts, maps, videos or other content are loaded from third-party servers, so simply visiting the pages does not cause any data to flow to third parties. Should individual external services be integrated in future, this policy will be amended accordingly in advance.

6. SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address bar begins with “https://”.

7. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:

  • right of access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17 GDPR)
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • right to withdraw a given consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
  • right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

8. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

9. Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for erasure or withdraw consent, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing it (e.g. tax or commercial retention periods).

10. Currency and amendment of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently valid and has the status indicated above. As this website is developed further or due to changed legal or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy.
